The Kansas City Chiefs issued a statement on Wednesday evening confirming they have knowledge of domestic violence allegations circulated in social media posts by a ex-partner of player Rashee Rice and had been in communication with the league office.
The organization did not mention Rice by name in their announcement and said they would have “no further comment at this time”.

The woman, who also did not mention the athlete by name, shared a series of photos on Instagram that seemed to depict indicators of bodily harm. She did say the individual in question was the parent of her kids, and reports indicate she has kids with Rice, whom the team selected in the 2023 draft.
No official complaints were on file in the Kansas City suburb where the alleged abuse is said to have taken place.
