Prolific children's author and TV personality David Walliams is no longer with his longtime publishing house, the company has said.
A representative for the firm commented: "Upon deliberation, and following the appointment of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish any new titles by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the decision was taken subsequent to an inquiry regarding claims about questionable actions involving female individuals.
The publisher did not confirm the reasons for its decision, stating: "It is not our policy to discuss internal matters."
Walliams is one of the UK's most successful children's authors, with sales exceeding in excess of 60 million copies worldwide in five dozen languages.
The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins back in 2008.
Some of his works, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as TV movies.
To date, he has released more than 40 books combined, including a festive story named *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins in October.
His career breakthrough occurred on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was awarded an OBE in 2017 in recognition of his work for the charitable sector and arts community.
The publisher's decision comes after the selection of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's recent CEO this past October.
