An Palestinian-American youth having endured 270 days in Israel's custody without charge has been freed.
The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim was fifteen years old at the time of his arrest this past winter within the occupied West Bank, during a family visit on holiday from Florida under suspicion of rock throwing against settlement residents, claims he consistently denied.
The US state department said it welcomed the news of Mohammed's release.
Currently aged sixteen, was taken to hospital for treatment immediately after release, relatives told the media.
According to them, he appears visibly pale and thin, while battling health issues acquired while detained.
Through an official statement, family spokesperson conveyed their "tremendous relief".
Family member Zeyad Kadur stated the family experienced "surviving a terrible, unending nightmare" throughout the past nine months.
"Right now, we are focused on providing Mohammed with the immediate medical attention he needs after being subjected to Israel's abuse and brutal treatment throughout his detention."
American authorities announced ongoing to extend consular services to Mohammed's family.
{"US government authorities has no higher priority than the safety and security of US citizens"," the department emphasized.
A group of American legislators submitted a formal letter to diplomatic officials and the White House, demanding more be done for his freedom.
Mr Ibrahim, parent of four children operating an ice cream shop in Florida, had earlier stated Mohammed acknowledged allegations about rock throwing after being assaulted by soldiers.
The father hadn't visited or communicated with his son since February, receiving updates exclusively what had happened to him via legal paperwork.
He stayed lacking indictment at Ofer detention facility on the West Bank.
The facility also contains adult prisoners, featuring prisoners sentenced of serious terrorism offences and homicide.
There are around 350 Palestinian minors in security custody currently imprisoned in Israel, according to the Israeli Prison Service.
Several lack formal charges while advocacy organizations, and international organizations, say some have suffered physical abuse and torture.
Subsequent to his liberation, family representatives announced relatives would persist in advocating seeking justice for their relative Sayfollah Musallet.
This young American-Palestinian according to health authorities was beaten to death by radical settlers following tensions in July.
At the time, the Israeli military said authorities were looking into information regarding a civilian had been killed.
Mohammed and Sayfollah were employed together at their family's ice cream business in Tampa, Florida.
No charges have been filed regarding Sayfollah's death.
"We demand United States leadership to protect our families," the uncle stated.
